John Delano was born in Duxbury and married there Mary Weston. In 1690 he lived "on the north side of the path which led from the Mill to South River and his name appears among those who leased the commons." On Feb. 24,1719 John Delano Sr. Cordwainer sold to John Delano Jr. his son, his farm where he dwelled in Duxbury. There are other public transactions recorded.
