William Bassett came to Plymouth on the Fortune in 1621. He resided at Plymouth until about 1650 then went to Duxbury for awhile and then about 1655 removed to Bridgewater. He was a gunsmith and worker of metals.
He was born about 1595 to 1600 and died between April 5 and June 5, 1667, respectively the
