| Daniel was eight years old when his father, Moses, moved to Kingfield. He worked at home on his fathers farm untill he was of age. He and Beulah lived in Kingfield untill 1854 when they moved to New Portland on the farm owned (in 1896) by Frank Winter. After twenty years they moved again to another farm (where he was living in 1896). Daniel and Beulah had nine children; all were Republicans except Orrin who was a Democrat; all except Moses and Orlando are buried at Kingfield. The first seven were born at Kingfield, the last two at New Portland. |
