The story of John and Cora's courtship spreading romance from midwest to Pacific shore is told in the accompanying momentoes. Both are buried at the Sunset Memorial Cemetary between Dallas and Salem, Oregon.
Cora's Pennsylvania Dutch ancestory is elaborated by Dunkelberger and Adams (1954). Enid Adams has recently found the German ancestorial home of the Streib and Stadler families.
John and Cora's first child was born at Soldier, Idaho, the second and third at Leona, Kansas, and the forth and fifth at Salem, Oregon. |
