From Byam (1975)13 we have a John Hutchins b. c.1604-1608 in England. He died Feb. 6,1685/6 and was married to Francis (possibly Alcock?). She died April 5,1694.
He was constable of Haverhill in 1661 to 1664; In 1665 and later he served on petit juries and on Sept 28,1668 on a grand jury; he was a selectman of Haverhill in 1669-70; Oct.8,1672 he was on a grand jury at Hampton Court; and several other incidents are recorded. His principle occupation was carpenter.
