| JOHN PABODIE (later Americanized to Peabody) -- Winsors "History of Duxbury" has John Pabodie in New England before 1637; he was admitted freeman Jan. 2,1637/8. John's will dated July 16,1649 was proved June 27,1666 and mentions children Thomas, Francis, _William_, Amie (wife of John Rouse) and grandsons John Rouse and John Pabodie (son of William). John Pabodie was born in England. | ||||
