| The carpet piece for the tranny tunnel (as well as all the floor pieces) was pre-hemmed by RUCC. However, with the dash in place it was too long in the front. It was trimmed to extend roughly 1" up under the dash. This was then slid under the dash and served as the guide point for fitting the remainder. Here the slope down has been glued and fitted and glue has been applied to the remainder which will cover the flat top. Note the stick shift has been wrapped to keep glue off of it and the shift knob has been removed. All the cardboard is simply to protect against overspray. |
