I ended up requiring custom length pushrods due to the decking of the heads that had been done. A set was ordered from Manley. A preload of 0.030" +/-0.020" was achieved. The other problem this created was that the stock rods are 5/16". The only ones available in the length required were 3/8" - this contributed to the next problem....
